Writing Arguments RERA

There are a few basic elements to each standard legal brief:

• An introduction which articulates the argument of the party and provides the party with the case theory and procedure history.
• Section of the Table of Authorities (TOA) listing all the legal authority references used in the argument. The Table of Authorities Builder in Rera Filing Drafting Assistant programmer does it a snap when it was previously a tedious and time-consuming process to generate the TOA.
• A statement of facts which describes all the details which are central to the court’s decision. The use of plain, descriptive and convincing language is essential in this section in order to describe the case’s facts and procedural facts and to avoid using conclusive declarations.
• A segment on argument that describes the legal arguments. This section discusses each legal issue and refers to each with a different “point heading” label. Point headings should be written specifically to analyses the exact legal question and should normally be limited to one single sentence.
• A conclusion which summarizes the main points of the brief and calls for special relief. You may also want to write this section in order to concentrate your thoughts. Using Standard Language

Although every brief should be customized to the case of each Client, you do not have to reinvent the wheel if you do not need it.  It is fairly normal for lawyers to repeat similar sentences or words (or even whole parts) if legal questions are identical in each case.  Naturally, the danger is that authority which was formerly good rule, but no longer good. Proofreading and Editing

You may want us to read and edit your document in depth after you have finished your brief. When we read an argument we still found it convenient to print your brief, so you could not be caught looking at my computer screen in a break.
